Aqua Rite, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1990 in Melbourne, Florida. We service all surrounding areas including Palm Bay, Rockledge, Suntree, Viera and all Beach communities from Satellite Beach to Melbourne Beach.

Over the past 18 years we have experienced steady and controlled growth, taking our staff from one to 15. We assure customer satisfaction, specializing in swimming pool and spa equipment repairs, weekly maintenance, pool resurfacing, and installation of heating systems.

The owners and key staff members are involved in the Florida Swimming Pool Association. The FSPA is a professional organization designed to raise the standards of our industry as well as promote swimming and water safety. Aqua-Rite currently holds two seats on the Board of Directors for the Space Coast Chapter, as well as one seat on the State Board.

Meet the Aqua Rite Management Team.


Bobby Johnson, the President and license holder of Aqua Rite, has been in the swimming pool and spa industry for 31 years. Bobby has been involved in all aspects of the industry including construction, wholesale distribution, retail, management, and repair service. Bobby's personality, honesty, and knowledge of the swimming pool and spa industry, has made him a great leader. His positive attitude filters down to his staff and customers.


Dawn Johnson, the Vice-President and co-owner of Aqua Rite, has been in the swimming pool industry for 21 years. She has worked in weekly maintenance and retail management and joined her husband Bobby in the family business five years ago.


Shelly Grundhoffer, the Service Manager and a key employee for 17 years, joined Bobby, her brother-in-law, at Aqua Rite in 1991. She has been in the swimming pool industry for 23 years. Shelly's expertise is in weekly maintenance and route management and is very well versed in residential and commercial pool equipment and water chemistry.
